We installed a wireless keypad HC computer today. Our wireless network is Netgear. Now my apple I pad won't work. E mail and safari both say I pad is not connected to the internet. I went into settings WiFi and tried to type in Netgear but it dismisses it. What's wrong?.

Technician's Assistant: Are you able to connect using an ethernet cable?

I don't use an Ethernet cable.

Technician's Assistant: Which lights are colored and/or blinking on your router?

I have a satellite/dish that connects to the HP router. The lights are on the router. Top two are green, One is orange, 2 is not on, 3 &4 are green. We hooked up a wireless keyboard and mouse to a new HP today. Microsoft installed Office today.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Network Expert to know before I connect you?

My I pad was received in Jan 2025. We have Ne Gear, the Name of my network is Patricia. Do you need password ***** network?

Hi,
I'm sorry about the issue. Please try the followings:

Solution #1:

- On your iPad, please go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset network settings, and confirm reset, then wait a bit until it has restarted.

- Then go to Settings -> Wi-Fi, then tap on your network name, if shown, and connect, and see what it says.

Solution #2:

- If needed, please disconnect the power cords from your internet modem / router device(s) for about 5 minutes, then re-connect.

- Then wait a few minutes, then see go to Settings -> Wi-Fi, then see if you can connect to your network name now.

- Is there any error or message?

- What's the model of your Netgear device?

- Do you have Windows xp, vista, or 7, 8, 10, or Mac computer?

- Is the computer connected to the Netgear?
