I have to unplug...

I have to unplug my Netgear wireless router at least twice a day to reset to make it work again WNR2000 I upgraded the firmware yesterday but still having the same problem

Technician's Assistant: Are you able to connect using an ethernet cable?

Yes

Technician's Assistant: Which lights are colored and/or blinking on your router?

3 green and the blue one on signal strength...WNS is green the #1 port and the power

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Network Expert to know before I connect you?

I am connected now but in 5 or 6 hrs I will have to unplug the power and rest it

Out in the open both my laptop and tablet go offline. I unplugit for 20 or 30 seconds and plug it back in. And it will work fine for afew hours then i lose the signal...

My first thought is overheating, as you aren't the only person reporting this issue (click here)

Were I you I would experiment with pointing a fan on this router for a day and see if it disconnects with the fan keeping it cool. If it does you know that it's overheating.

Let me know what happens.

Not worth securly connect...you guys already got me for $25.00. and it didnt help...am i supposed to get a refund. If i didnt like your answer? I want my$19.95 back please!
