Besides plugging in, how do I install Linksy?
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular machine?
Customer: jumped thru all the hoops when purchased, to no avail! My IPhone would recognize it, but did not work.
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Too long ago. Cant remember.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Just plugged it back in upstairs. Green light turned to yellow blinking light.
JA: Anything else you want the Network Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: An older lady here, who will eventually type a word when left long enough in front of the keyboard!

The RE6400 is a range booster; not a router.

Are you boosting the signal upstairs and the router is downstairs?

On the side of the booster, you will see the WPS button. Press the button and go to your router now and press the WPS button on there within 2 minutes.

ext is short for extender??

Plan is to move the Linksy Extender upstairs, so TVs reach signal better!

Forgot TVs are so smart, one has to tell them, there's a new kid on the block! One TV is on, but need to set up the big one! STARZ became a buffer every 2 minutes last evening! That can certainly eat up one's evening with frustration! So safe to move device upstairs??

Just push WPS again or no?

You should not need to press it again -- If you do not see the _ext network listed then you will need to do it but you should be okay without pressing it

Did not show upon settings like it did on the bedroom TV. Only the router.
