trying to figure out if I can enable telnet or SSH on a Netgear r6300v2 that is running the COX custom firmware.
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular NETGEAR router?
Customer: this particular router? some, but not much.
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: nothing popped up. I want to access the router's OS.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: searched the web UI for SSH or Telnet options, none found.

What OS is your computer using?

You have to enable the Telnet client in Windows - it is not enabled by default.
