I am trying to switch the router from pressing the wps

hello my name is ***** ***** am trying to switch the router from pressing the wps button to entering the password ***** i am not able to connect to wifi on my phone
JA: Have you tried "power cycling" your router -- unplugging it and letting it rest for about ten seconds?
Customer: yes does not work when entering password ***** will not allow i have to press the WPS button i do not want that option
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: i have an Iphone it does not have the option to press that button in my phone. when entering the wifi password ***** invalid password
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: unplugging
JA: Anything else you want the network expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no i just want to be able to enter password ***** of pressing the WPS BUTTON ON THE back of the router PLEASE!!!!
