VerifiedHi. My name is***** you for your question. When the extender is plugged in it starts
broadcasting a wireless network called NETGEAR_EXT
If you have a laptop or tablet connect to your main wireless, disconnect from that and connect
to NETGEAR_EXT. There is no password *****
Once it shows as connected, open your browser and go to www.mywifiext.net
That should open the configuration page for your extender.
You will not have an internet connection on that device until after you complete the extender setup.
It's best to plug your extender in a wall socket in the same room as your router for initial setup.
Once it's configured you can unplug it and move it without losing your settings.
The extender needs to get a strong signal from you router and should be plugged in
in an area "about" halfway between you existing router and your TVs.
