I have a RKV-2U two computer switching unit. This I have never used, but now I would like to use it to switch between a Inspiron 3650 and a Studio, both Dell computers. Would this still be a useful effort for me? Please advise. Thanks, ***** ********@******.***.

Hi. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist.

If you want to switch between two computers using a single monitor this would definitely be useful.

Dear Biron, I have the old RKV-2U, and have the two computers connected through the unit. I use the switching between the two computers, but I still have to figure out all the other functions. Still, at least I am on the computers with one screen. Bill

Hi. The RKV is a basic kvm unit that allows switching between two computer using a single monitor.

It really doesn't have other functions. What is that you are looking to accomplish?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I am not a tech person, and I don't understand all the symbols representing functions on the unit. But this is no problem, I am operating the computers. Thanks, Bill
