Sir Im having difficulty connecting to my Samsung TV to my Netgear router
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular Netgear router?
Customer: Not much
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: the tv was looking for the network but the network never showed during the searchg
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Shut down the cox modem and router for 15 seconds and reconnected to no avail.
JA: Anything else you want the network expert to know before I connect you?

yes, follow these steps please>

1. Press the MENU button on your remote.
2. Use the navigational pad to select Network, and then click to enter the sub menu.
3. Use the navigation pad to select Network Settings.
4. Select the wireless network connection method, and the TV will automatically begin to search for wireless networks that are in range.

NOTE: If your SSID is not broadcast you can manually add your networks SSID by selecting Add Network.
5. Select your wireless networks SSID(network name) from the list, and then click to connect.
NOTE:If your network is password ***** you will need to enter your wireless networks password, when finished select Done and click to continue.
6. The TV will attempt to connect to your network.

okay, this sounds like we may need to reset the tv and then check for wifi availability.

Try this please>

  1. Open the main menu.

  2. Scroll down and select Support.

  3. Select Self Diagnosis.

  4. Select Reset.

  5. Enter the security PIN (default 0000) for your TV.

  6. Select Yes
