I have a Cisco Valet Router M10 & I am trying to change the name & password. My router is about 7 to 8 years old and I do not know where the instructions are
JA: Have you tried "power cycling" your router -- unplugging it and letting it rest for about ten seconds?
Customer: Yes I did that yesterday and It still does not prompt me to change the password. My router is wireless
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Nothing popped up. My router is not plugged into the computer
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I can't get anything to show up on my computer to prompt me to change anything.
