Appears to be the "standard" issue with NetGear extender

Customer Question

Appears to be the "standard" issue with NetGear extender set-up. Can't access the 'mywifiext' menu. Have connected directly to the modem (as instructed).
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular Netgear router?
Customer: The router is Comcast (Arris). The extender is Net Gear. I have limited experience with the router (but just had a tech out yesterday confirming it's in working order).
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Went through the initial WPS set-up; didn't connect. Then tried the WEP steps, but failed at connecting. Finally, connected directly to modem; tried the IP address; still no luck. Tried 2 separate browsers (Firefox, Safari); same result. Cleared history; no change. Haven't tried establishing a static IP address for computer (iMac).
JA: The network expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?
Customer: Haven't been on this site before. Anything I should know ($$) before you connect me?
