I have a synology server that needs some love...
JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: Since we got a new router we can't seem to use the remote login feature... on the lcal network it's fine... though I think I'm screwing it up by messing around
JA: Have you tried "power cycling" your router -- unplugging it and letting it rest for about ten seconds?
Customer: oh yes... I'm logged in to the back end of both router and synology but the error codes aren't specific enough to find the issue
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: message boards and youtube
