I bought a AC1200+ and finally got it to work on my Macbook

Customer Question

I bought a AC1200+ and finally got it to work on my Macbook Pro - when I try to connect my iPhone it asks for a guest password. What is it or where do I go to find it?
JA: When did you last reset your username and password?
Customer: I don't recall resetting it
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: none - this has been so frustrating I have mostly been spinning my wheels
JA: The network expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?
Customer: have have an iMac and a pc that I haven't been able to connect with
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Network Technician about your situation and then connect you two.

Hi. My name is***** you for your question. Connect the iPhone to your main wireless

network first before opening the Safari browser on the phone.

On the phone, go to Settings>>Wi-fi. Make sure wireless is on.

Tap the name of your new wireless network and enter the wifi password.

When successfully connected you'll see a checkmark next to the network name.

Open Safari and you should be able to surf the internet.

If you're still having an issue, can you connect your PC to the router with a network cable

and get an internet connection? If you can, I can remote in to the PC and get this sorted.

No luck - I'll try tomorrow

Certainly. If you can get the PC on the internet using a network cable to the router I can take care of this.
