Hello and welcome. What version of Windows have you got on them?Have you tried mapping the drives remotely?Martin
It would involve you getting the IP address for the computer that has the files you want to access and use the command line to create a shortcut folder from the computer you're on so you can access it easily.I can do it for you via a remote session if you like.Otherwise, open a cmd prompt and grab the IP address of the target computer, then from the source computer use the net use command to map it:net use x: \\destinationIP\source\to\share /persistent:yesIt may be a little complex for you to do if you're not tech savvy which is why I offered remote assistance
I can do it for you via a remote session if you like. The reasons for it not working could be endless - a firewall, TCP/IP settings, sharing not being enabled for personal files, anti virus software, etcLet me know if you'd like me to have a look at it for you so I can tell you the reason and help you find a solution.
I could probably work from the main admin comp but might have to work on both.I sent you a reply today 8 hours ago, I am just finishing my shift.I will be online in a while though when I get home. Will you be on?
