Customer Question

Upgraded to Windows 10 and it killed my home network!! Also get continual "Internet Explorer has stopped working message. Printers connect to network via WPS but not computers or SmartPhone. Had a long chat with Century Link and router setup is o.k. Can't go back to Windows 7 since it's been more than a month since I upgraded. What do I do to get my home network back?

Hi my name is ***** ***** I may be able to assist. Are you accessing our site from the computer in question?

via Ethernet (and IE just stopped working a bit ago and I had to reconnect with you).

It doesn't look like the secure connect request went through. Customer Service will be able to contact you to fix that but we can still chat here to try to resolve the issue.

Try this:

Open Internet Explorer and click on the gear in the top right corner then click on Internet Options.

Click on ‘Advanced’ tab, click on ‘Reset’ button at the bottom to Reset Internet Explorer Settings.

This will run through a process and ask you to reboot. See it this helps.
