I'm sorry about the issue. Can you please confirm your Compaq 610 laptop have Windows 7 (or Windows XP, Vista, 8 or 10, etc.)?

Was wireless working fine previously on this laptop?

Can you click on Start, then right-click on Computer, then click on Properties, then check if your System type: is 32-bit or 64-bit?

- Please press the wireless / signal button at the top of the keyboard and check. Please click on the website below for an illustration example:

- If that does not work, please open the HP Wireless Assistant program on the laptop and check.

- If there is no HP Wireless Assistant program, please download and install it at the HP website below:
