Customer Question

I have an ASUS laptop with a Windows 7 operating system and yesterday I turned it on and clicked on my Internet Explorer icon to access my email and all that kept coming up was "this page can not be displayed". I ran a troubleshooting check which said everything checks fine but kept saying no connection to my DNS server. I contacted my high speed Internet provider (AT&T) and they sent a technician out who installed a new modem and reset my WiFi settings and said I need to contact ASUS because my wife's laptop is using the same WiFi connection and her laptop works perfectly. He suggested that some setting in my laptop may have been somehow disabled and simply needs to reset. Does this sound like something that could be fixed by an online tech?
