Customer Question

I have a Cisco Linksys router Model WRT54G2 V1. I am trying to go thru the set up and set the security. I go to the wiFi Protected setup , click the Wifi Protected set up buton on the device then click the button on the screen. the screen shows searching for the device but I continue to get a connection failure. Why can't my device connect to the internet?

Hi. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist.

On the screen where you are seeing the Wifi Protected setup page, at the top click the Manual option.

The page will change and you will be able to select your security type. Use WPA/WPA2 and

create a wireless password ***** minimum of 8 characters. Please see the attachment.

Then Save the changes.
