WF3540 connected to wireless network. It prints as expected

Customer Question

WF3540 connected to wireless network. It prints as expected but printer app has permanent "Communication Error" displayed in print queue dialog box. It does *not* however print to Evernote via "Scan to Cloud" option and this used to work fine up until 2 mths ago. Grateful for any advice.
Set up on Apple Airport Xtreme and Comcast Modem. Thx.

Hi there,

If you haven't already done so, try turning off all network equipment - Airport, Modem, etc - for a few minutes, then turn it all back on again.

Let me know if the error message still remains...

i have turned off or rebooted everything except comcast modem. will try this and keep you posted. thx.

Still have the communication error (although as I said, printing over wifi network works fine) and scan to cloud feature to upload docs to Evernote still doesn't work. I will try again tonight.

Ok, if it still doesn't work, try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it again.
