Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Is this a new extender?

Do you have a windows or mac computer? Is it a laptop or desktop?

- First, make sure the Netgear WN2500RP WiFi extender is connected to power, then use a pin or paperclip to push in the tiny reset hole at the back of the extender for about 12 seconds, then wait a few minutes.

- Then use a laptop (or wireless computer), and close the Internet / website program on your computer

, then connect it to the Wi-Fi / wireless network name called NETGEAR_EXt

, then open your Internet program, then it should start up the netgear extender setup page (if it does not, then go to the website http://www.mywifiext.net in order to see the netgear extender setup page.)

, then follow the instructions on that page in order to connect the extender to your Wi-Fi/wireless network name.

- Then please click on the for the full instructions / illustrations:

http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/WN2500RP/WN2500G_IG_6Nov2012.pdf

, (try option 2 first to see if it works)

- Also, it's easier to watch the instruction video at the website below; it's for a similar Netgear extender model, but the instructions are the same:
