Trying to set up my Netgear wn250rp WiFi Range Extender with a Verizon Actiontec 424wr router. Don't have directions and don't know where to begin.

I'm sorry about the issue. Is this a new extender?

Do you have a windows or mac computer? Is it a laptop or desktop?

- First, make sure the Netgear WN2500RP WiFi extender is connected to power, then use a pin or paperclip to push in the tiny reset hole at the back of the extender for about 12 seconds, then wait a few minutes.

- Then use a laptop (or wireless computer), and close the Internet / website program on your computer

, then connect it to the Wi-Fi / wireless network name called NETGEAR_EXt

, then open your Internet program, then it should start up the netgear extender setup page (if it does not, then go to the website in order to see the netgear extender setup page.)

, then follow the instructions on that page in order to connect the extender to your Wi-Fi/wireless network name.
