Hi I have a linksy booster RE 6500. it was connected to an old router that we got rid of. How do I reset the booster, so I can reconfigure it to our new router?

Hello & Welcome to JustAnswer.
There is a reset button on the back of the router, it is a small button, you will need to use a unfolded paperclip or pin.
Press and hold this button for about five seconds to reset the extender to
its factory defaults.
