Just had ATT install Uverse...

Just had ATT install Uverse and tested, only wireless works but not by hard wire through router. ATT tech saying it might be because the internet line is distributed by router. Do I have to set up something so it works with router?

netgear is the router switch, NETGEAR ProSafe Ethernet Switch (GS116NA)

Okay that is a wifi router and modem combo. Did att provide this equipment to you? There is no reason that the internal wired router functions would not work but wifi would, that isn't a setting, but more likely a hardware issue. they gave me the Motorola one but I purchased netgearI connect directly to computer from Motorola then it works but not through netgear

solod green light right below the port so seams connection to netgear is goodsolidI also have wireless 4g Verizon currently connected to all the computer. any conflicts maybe?When I check, local area connection with internet but if I disable the wireless 4g Verizon, says local area connection with no internet.

Yes, there could be a conflict there, if they are sharing the 4g connection, and are all linked through the netgear, they aren't going to pick up the att router

Well this could be an issue with the netgear as well, you may just have a faulty switch, evidenced by things working when you have a direct connection to the modem.How is the 4g connected?

4g is wireless so not connted to anythingnetgear is working fine sharing data with all the work coputers

And if you disable 4g/wifi on the computers, and plug any of those computers into the motorola directly, they get an internet connection?

I didn't have to disable the 4g, when I plug it in, automaticall the ATT uverse works and disable the 4g itself

all has 4g, when I directly connect the Ethernet cable from motorolla, it worked but when I connect it through netgear, didn'tyes, all the computers have the same issue

Each one has its own 4g usb modem?What I'm getting at is that if you have them set up to share a 4g connection, it makes sense that they aren't working through the netgear when another network is layered on top via the modem. If you go into the lan settings for each computer and set the tcpip settings to automatic, it should be able to pick up the modem normally
