VerifiedHello, this comes up alot and you will need to repeat the signal through the house with a repeater, the repeater that works the best seems to be the Netgear WN3000RP, you set it up with your router configurations then plug it in a wall about halfway from your TV then your TV connectes tot eh repeater which is getting its information from your wireless router.
Now since you are on ATT DSL more than likely you are using a 2wire which has everythibng builtin, what you can do to get better range as well, is talk with ATT and tell them you just want a stand alone MODEM that doesnt have builtin wifi then you go buy a wireless router that has better range at the store, normally the ones that are on the "N" network have pretty good range in homes.
