Hi Jim,

The Nurit 8020 can use either wifi or the GSM/GPRS band (also used by ATT and T-Mobile) which can easily be dampened within buildings. I advise purchasing an amplifier such as this one for GSM/GPRS (SIM card) or like this one if you're using wifi to increase the signal. If you're using wifi, you can run a network cable into your location and connect it to a Wireless Access Point.

Alternatively, if you use the SIM card, you may be able to switch it with one from a competing carrier. If you're currently using ATT, switch to T-Mobile and vice versa.

Thank you,

We can only use the ATT SIM card with our credit card processor. How will that amplifier work?

The amplifier will attach inside the building with an antenna ran with cable outside. It has a variable knob that allows you to adjust the gain to meet your signal requirements. Once installed and powered on, no further steps are required.
