OK do you see your network when you right click the Wireless Networking icon in the system tray (near the clock it looks like a monitor with a red X) and choose View Available Wireless Networks?

OK please try the following steps:

 

  1. Hold down the Windows key on your keyboard and press R to bring up the Run window.
  2. 2. Type ncpa.cpl and click OK.
  3. 3. Right click your Wireless Network Connection and choose Properties.
  4. 4. Click the Wireless Networks tab.
  5. 5. Near the bottom of the window, highlight your home network in the list and click the Remove or Delete button.
  6. 6. Click OK to save your changes and reboot.
  7. 7. When you computer comes back up, right click the Wireless Icon in the system tray and choose View Available Wireless Networks.
  8. 8. In the list that appears, highlight your network and click Connect.
  9. 9. If prompted for a password, enter it and click OK.

lost on step 4 homewireless cnnect see client for networks or

dell wireless in box then configure see no property

OK that means you are using the Dell Wireless Utility for your connections. I am not very familiar with that program so I will opt out so that another can join in and hopefully help you out. Sorry I wasn't more help!
