Use an ethernet wire to connect the router to the computer or if its already connected using wireless you can directly follow these steps:

Open Internet Explorer >

Type http://192.168.1.1 in Address bar >

Hit Enter >

Login page for Router will open >

Leave the user name blank. And use admin for password. If that fails, type admin for both username and password >

Hit Enter >

Click on the wireless tab >
Click on the "Wireless Security" tab >
In this page you can setup a WEP password XXXXX save it and restart the router >

This will be your new key.

Let me know, how it goes.

Disconnect from your internet first of all.

Connect your router to the computer using the cable and click on this address: http://192.168.1.1

Let me know, if that brings the log in screen.

When I entered the address in my address line I didn't get the window you discribed, all I got were sites that wanted to sell me some product

First disconnect the router from any other computer or wire and restart it. Only connect it to the pc using an ethernet cable from where you will try this and type this address to the browser's address bar: http://192.168.1.1/ and hit enter.
