I have a Gateway 700x, re-installed windows XP but did not

Resolved Question:

I have a Gateway 700x, re-installed windows XP but did not have driver disk from Gateway. I can't connect to the internet. Ethernet Controller driver missing? Where can i find this driver for the Gateway 700x (this model has been taken over by MPC so it's not on gateway's website)? Thanks

Is this a desktop system? If so, Could you look inside of it for me and get any pertinent numbers off of the motherboard for me?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

Go to this page and look through until you find the one for XP. Intel's site kinda makes you jump through hoops. It has sent me in circles before (kinda like it did this time). If you can't find it let me know and I'll try to locate it from somewhere else.
