I have a logitech...

I have a logitech mouse model LZ743AM-is being used on a Imac running 10.6.8. I have to click several times before I get it to open a program. I have this problem even after running Idefra and Mackeeper

Run Disk utility, I Defrag, clean my Mac,reset setting for the mouse. As I was typing this it got hung up-frozen. Also changed batteries
