We have FiOS and a Verizon wireless router. We keep getting messages that are security is inadequate and should be upgraded. Please advise

Nothing. From what it appears our router uses an old protocol

I did find a long and Technical explanation that use codes but I frankly did not understand

Issue was resolved by contacting Verizon by phone. They are providing an upgraded router. I no longer need the service.
