I have had TWO Seagate Hard Drives die this summer: MAC Book

Customer Question

I have had TWO Seagate Hard Drives die this summer:
JA: What kind of computer do you have?
Customer: MAC Book Pro . OS Sierra
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No. I have had both hard drives checked by professional tech people, and they cannot get at my two teribytes of images which are on them. This is probably 15,000+ images.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I have already thrown out the 5 TB (model SRD00F2 (should not have!), but I still have the 3TB STCH3000101. Is there something else I could do to see if this material (all images) can be recovered?

There are companies that specialize only in data recovery that could recover those files for you but they can be extremely expensive so it really depends on how important those pictures are to you.
