JA: What's the make and model of your computer? And have you had problems with this keyboard in the past?
Customer: Have had computer fjor several years aljong with keybjoard and mjouse. I am definitely cjonvinced jof sjome sjort jof virus althjough I knjow hardware (keybjoardV) can njot get a virus. As yjou can see the letter jo is preceded by a j njo matter where typed. I have seen jother people jon the net with similar pjoblems. Alsjo, the backspace and delete key wjork joff/jon

Customer: The problem is in all applicatijons, regardless jof age. I believe the keybjoard buffer is where the culprit lies.

It is not likely to be a virus. More likely a broken/defective keyboard. But we can certainly check for a virus. Have you tried a different keyboard?

I used the virtual keybjoard and it worked fine. The problem drifts tjo different characters . Gjoes away and cjomes back. I have run several virus checks, reljoaded drivers, etc.

Since the virtual keyboard works correctly, it is almost certainly a hardware problem with the keyboard. Is this a wireless or wired keyboard?
