I cannot put sound from my pc through my Logitech X-240 now. Had mu Logitech some years and worked perfectly, but now on Windows 10 and all I get is a hum.
JA: What kind of computer do you have?
Customer: Toshiba Laptop
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No, not that I aware of. It often does updates which i don't understand.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Please confirm the output socket on the PC that I should be using?

Can you right click on the speaker icon bottom right and click on playback devices

Which device is set as default in the list?

Speakers and headphones both categorised as default

ok.. but only one device can be marked as default.

Right click the headphones, mark it as default then try to play music please
