I'm sorry about the issue, first disconnect the bluetooth on your ipad and turn off your keyboard. Now do a quick reset on your ipad as follow:

  1. Press and hold the Power (on/off) and Home button for 10 seconds.
  2. Ignore the Turn off Message.
  3. Release all buttons when you see the Apple logo.
  4. Let the iPad turn on.
  5. Turn your keyboard back on.

On your ipad, go to Bluetooth settings and try to connect with the keyboard again and check to see if they are working properly.

If the problem persists do the following :

  1. Backup all data On your ipad then go to Settings.
  2. Select General
  3. Select Reset (at the bottom of this list)
  4. Select Reset all settings.
  5. Your ipad will reboot and prompt for wifi setup and other services setup.
  6. Try to connect it with your keyboard to see if it will work.
