I have a HP laptop with a Logitech wireless mouse installed

Customer Question

I have a HP laptop with a Logitech wireless mouse installed running Windows 10.
My regular keyboard quit working and I have purchased a Logitech wireless 480k keyboard.
Original installation worked perfectly. subsequently when trying to use keyboard, it does not connect to the computer. Checking in Windows Control Panel, Devices & Printers, the keyboard shows installed and when clicked on shows paired.
Windows Settings / Devices/Connected Devices does not show the keyboard and does not connect when I try to add the keyboard..
I have Logitech Unifying receiver pluged in to support my Logitech wireless M510 mouse

Hi there and welcome

First, to be sure, did you perform the installation as following?

Turn the selector dial to 1 (the factory setting) on the Keyboard

Press and hold down the “pc” connect button for 3 seconds.

Click Settings in the upper-right corner of the display.

Click Change PC Settings.

Click PC and Devices and select Bluetooth.

Select Logitech Keyboard K480 and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the pairing.

Then wait 20 minutes for the install and updates to complete and then try to use the keyboard
