I have a logitech 1000 LCD master remote control. unknown

Customer Question

I have a logitech 1000 LCD master remote control. For some unknown reason, the touch controls turned completely upside down. Therefore, the images and icons are not in the proper position to receive the command making he unit unfunctional. How can I get the unit to right itself. To give you a better understanding, think of when you turn your iphone upside down, the image also turns so that it is upright. The image on the Logitech 1000 touch screen remote turned upside down and will not right itself. Help!

Greetings :)

When this happens the unit will need reset to its Factory State.

How to:

Thats it :)

  • Turn the remote control over so its back is facing up. Slide the battery cover off of the battery compartment.

  • Lift the battery out of the battery compartment.

  • Press and hold the power button.

  • Insert the battery into the compartment.

  • Release the power button when the "safe mode" screen appears.

  • Remove the battery from the battery compartment. Wait about five seconds.

  • Replace the battery into the compartment. Replace the battery cover.

  • Press the power button to turn the unit on. The unit is reset back to original factory settings.
