I have a HP p2-1310 desktop. All of a sudden, I can't boot

I have a HP p2-1310 desktop. All of a sudden, I can't boot it up. Error message says: No boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed. This message is on a black screen.

That is telling you that your hard drive has failed. You either see the message with a bad drive ( which you said passed) or did you leave a jump drive or SD type card?
