Let me iterate-- Why doesn't the bios on the motherboard recognize the physical presence of my SATA DVD player?? (The SATA Hard Drive is recognized and listed in the bios..No problem..) Items relating to Win-10, ie-device downloads etc, can be taken care
of later when the DVD is operational.

Have you been able to do a BIOS UPDATE? Or there one available for that MOTHERBOARD? WHat is the make and model of the motherboard, AND the SATA dvd player, and i can cross reference it to check if the current BIOS is compatible with the SATA DVD player
