how to install a factory shifter on 1968 chevelle muncie transmission
JA: Does the vehicle have a fuse that enables or disables the shifter?
Customer: no
JA: What is the model of your '68 classic?
Customer: chevelle malibu
JA: Are you fixing your Malibu yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes the transmission was removed, the shifter was seperated from the transmission and we are re installing the shifter the mount plate is still the shifter but we can't figure out how it mounts on the transmossion
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: we are not sure we may be missing a part. note: this is not a hurst shifter its a muncie factory.
