I need to identify a rear end that was installed in a 1949 Chevy truck rebuild with the following numbers on it so I can buy and replace the brake shoes.

Hello, it's from a 1971 chevy c-10 pickup 12 bolt 8.875" ring gear. The shoes are WAGNER PAB280R 11X2

Thanks that's very helpful just to confirm I have the right model. On this rear end I had to remove the clips inside the differential and remove the axel and drum as one unit
It looks like the drum id is 11 1/4

The drums should come of the axles, they may be frooze onto the flange.
