I just want to know how to get the motors to work

WElcome. I am CAm. On your power seats out of the 2008, you have how many wires in there?
Expert:  Bluegorilla replied 2 years ago.
It should have several wires but the ones we need are the thick red and the thick black. This is for the simple 6 way power seats. with these 2 wires connected, black to ground and the red to 25 amp circuit breaker or fuse, the seats will function.
Expert:  Bluegorilla replied 2 years ago.
If the donor seats have the memory functions then you will find 2 reds and 2 blacks, but the reds can be connected to the same source and blacks to ground.
