Hello my name is ***** ***** welcome to just answers! I will be assisting you with all of your vehicle questions today. Give me one moment while I review your question and come back with a answer. Please be aware I do not know your skill level or abilities so I will be asking a lot of questions and in a lot of cases we will respond to each other quite a lot before we find a solution. As far as phone calls are concerned that is the system prompting you, not me, and they do cost more money, I prefer text but in some cases a phone call is required. If I don’t answer right away or quickly in conversation I am helping another customer or have stepped out for a moment and will respond as soon as I can. Ok lets get started!

They call it a MUX. Some sort of interface. Red and white wire? Not sure if I have plug into the module or just splice into the wire at the brake switch
Chrysler Mechanic: Mechanic01, ASE Certified Technician replied 4 months ago

I need to verify my payment went through as I got Lifelock alert on my card.Thank you,Jim

ok MUX is a signal for positive or negative I get it now, so this is kind of a pain as you will have to pull drivers door panel to access the drivers door module, that will be a purple wire send ground signal, the parking light I would go with connector c1 pin 13 in the integrated power module, there will be a lot of these wires there, that wires is for the trailer towing, least to cause any problems, also recommend just stripping off wire sheathing, wrapping signal wire on and solder together so circuits stay the same,

The IPM is the one under the hood where you said the hood sensor wire is?
Chrysler Mechanic: Mechanic01, ASE Certified Technician replied 4 months ago

yes you can get it at the ipm or at the switch itself which should be close to the hood latch

Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Customer satisfaction is my number one goal. Giving me nothing less than a 5 star rating would be appreciated very much. You can do this rating at the box on the upper right hand corner. This will not close our chat session and at no extra charge we will still be able to talk about any other issues you may have for free! Providing a rating is the only way I will receive credit for my work with you. Negative ratings do not result in a refund so If you’re not satisfied with the work we have done so far please respond more and let’s get your question figured out. Thanks Shawn!

I AM VERY GLAD THAT I TOOK A CHANCE ON YOUR PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS. I WAS SUCCESSFUL IN REPLACING THE FUEL PUMP. MY TRUCK RUNS LIKE A CLOCK. IT RUNS LIKE THE DAY I BOUGHT IT. NO LUNGING FORWARD, THE TURBO REACTS THE SECOND I STOMP ON THE GAS, AND IT HAS A LOT MORE POWER AND EVEN SOUNDS BETTER TO ME. IT SAVED ABOUT $500.00 BY DOING THE WORK MYSELF. I GIVE YOU ALL THE CREDIT FOR YOUR DIAGNOSING THE PROBLEM, JUST FROM THE SYMPTONS I GAVE YOU OVER THE e MAIL. I WILL USE YOUR WEB SITE AGAIN AND REFER MY FRIENDS. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE HELP.
