If you pull out cyl#2 spark plug do you smell gas or carbon on it?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
we already went thru everything but i guess my question is have u ever heard of a pcm causing this problem..i was told that there was a reprogram to fix it
Expert:  Gunvir Singh replied 2 months ago.

No, a faulty pcm should be giving you misfire all the time, not only at idle. In my experience the problem is in the cylinder head area. To test that you will need to perform a cylinder leakdown test.
