batt whent deas need to smog but they say need to drive and reset computer trove about 130 miles stoping and start up to speed
JA: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery fully charged?
Customer: yes
JA: What is the model/year of your Chrysler?
Customer: 2004 Pt
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: no taken to smog station they say they can not pass because computer need resset and to drive it 25 to 100 miles I did that but they say it need more miles and to check will someone on how to used the driver cycle
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Do A Master Reset & drive another 50 miles on it

and let me know

Master reset Procedure

1- Disconect Battery Cables ( Negative & Positive Cables )you can use any electrical wire as an extension if battery cables don't reach .

2- Hold cables Together for 60 secs ,then let go

3- Wait 15 minutes

4- Make sure all doors are closed

5- Reconnect battery Cables

6- Lock & unlock the vehicles using the key from driver door side (if you have a key fob with no blade key, just lock & unlock using the key fob buttons)

7- Enter the vehicle and attempt to start
