Customer Question

I have a 2006 pt cruiser. Last week it had a DTC saying battery voltage low". I replaced the battery. Then I noticed the fuel economy went from 24.2 mpg to 17.7 mpg. Then it threw DTC p1128 and 0032 one very cold morning last week? What . I think I also saw the temperature needle acting a little weird too....what is the deal with this car?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

p1128 sets when closed loop fuel control cannot be achieved and would be related to poor fuel mileage. The P0032 is an oxygen sensor code and could also be related.

Can you describe exactly what the coolant temperature gauge is doing?
