Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

A clicking sound from behind the dash is most likely coming from an actuator on the heater box. If a door binds or an actuator fails it can cause clicking as the actuator continues to run but the door does not move.

Does the noise happen when changing modes, temperature, or when turning recirculation on and off?
