if you replace an upper ball joint should you also replace the bottom one
JA: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: 2001 sebring front wheel drive
JA: Besides this, what condition is the car in?
Customer: good until yesterday
JA: Are you fixing your Sebring yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: no a professional is doing the work again

Customer: he replaced the upper ball joint but not the bottom and the bottom dropped out of the car

Did the bottom ball joints separate letting the wheels come loose?

the bottom ball joint dropped right off it was so rusty.

That certainly should have been caught on inspection. Did they replace the whole upper control arm to replace the joint?

Did they do an alignment?

Was the lower recommended to be replaced and declined?
