Customer: nothing so fr it just started today

Customer: I have to check but I going to say yes my wife just got home

Hello and welcome to just answer. My name is ***** ***** I will do my best to assist you. There are 2 things that can cause a whine like you describe. 1 the power steering pump, and 2 the alternator. Since you say the noise is on the passenger side, I am leaning towards the alternator causing the noise. Do you have a shop/mechanic/dealer that you trust?
