Hello, my name is ***** ***** I will assist you. 2 things come to mind : 1 a front wheel speed sensor that became disconnected or damaged when the ball joints were done, or 2 the steering angle sensor needs to be recalibrated since the alignment was done. Who did the ball joints?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Mechanic who is friend of family

Ok, ask him to double check the wiring at both front wheel speed sensors. Then get a scan tool that can read ABS codes to check and clear the codes. That should turn off the ABS and ESP lights.
