my2010 jeep liberty Renegade is overheating, and I got antifreeze all over my passenger side floorboard.
JA: Have you checked the coolant? Have you checked for a leak in the cooling system?
Customer: I checked under the hood and I replaced the water pump just last week. New thermostat also.
JA: What year is your Renegade?
Customer: 2010
JA: Are you fixing your Renegade yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No I took it to a mechanic
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no that is it thank you

There is only reason for coolant in the floorboard. The heater core which is located in the hvac housing behind the dash, is leaking and will require replacement.

This is a big job as the dash has to come out in order to access it and replace it. Labor time is 6 hours, which will be around $600. Parts, which will be the heater core and coolant will run around $200. Total will be around $800 for this repair.
