We replaced the fuel pump in July. Now car refuses to start

Customer Question

We replaced the fuel pump in July. Now car refuses to start and "floods" when trying to start. It starts fine in the morning or after sitting for an hour but will not restart after you drive 5 miles and shut it off
JA: Have you ever replaced the fuel pump, or is this the original?
Customer: In July we replaced it. Starts great cold but "floods" if warm
JA: What is the model/year of your Chrysler?
Customer: 2005 grand caravan
JA: Are you fixing your Grand Caravan yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: We are because we only have 1 car
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Nope

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are many things that will cause a no start condition and it will take some testing to determine exactly what is going on. You may have an ignition system issue, inaccurate sensor, fuel contamination, an exhaust restriction; there are dozens of possible causes.

Have you checked for fault codes?
