No, 1998 chrysler cirrus when I turn wheel the horn blow n

JA: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: 1998 chrysler cirrus when I turn wheel the horn blow n now the horn just goes off by itself I have to outside in hit the horn then it's stop ..? How do I disable the horn?
JA: Do you have power steering? Have you checked the power steering fluid?
Customer: No
JA: Are you fixing your Cirrus yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes I have power steering. .i will take it to the shop later on today but trying to get the horn to stop blowing so it will not keep waking up my neighbors
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

This issue is usually caused by a faulty Air Bag clock spring, you can remove the airbag fuse, and it should quiet the horn, sometimes you will have to unplug the horn in the grill or under the bumper assembly.Please rate my service, I will continue to answer your questions until you are completely satisfied with my answers.
